He started his career in 2003 and his first debut was Gangotri in 2003. And he also appeared in Arya in 2004 that was directed by Sukumar, he got the prize for the Nandi special jury award for his role he also acted in movies such as bunny in 2005, happy in 2006, and desamuduru in the year 2007.
He won his first firmware award as best actor He achieved success with movies like Race Gurram (2014), Sarrainodu (2016), and Duvvada Jagannadham (2017). Each movie earned more than ₹100 crores at the box office.[12] He worked with director Trivikram Srinivas three times.
