Meghna Malik is an Indian film, television, and theatre actress who has done some tremendous roles throughout her acting career. She is 50 years old. Meghna was born on 3 October 1971 in Haryana city named Sonipat, located in Delhi NCR. She is well known for her role as ammaji of a popular Hindi serial na aana is desh meri laado. The show was based on the concept of female infanticide and other evil social practices against women. Malik gained immense love and popularity for this role and later, when the show ended, she continued to do films, tv serials, and other reality shows.
Meghna Malik family
Meghna Malik belongs to the jat community. She was born and brought up in a jat family of Sonipat, Haryana. Meghna is the daughter of Raghuveer Singh and Kamlesh malik. She belongs to an educated and upper-middle family. Her father is a retired English professor and her mother is a retired college principal. She also has a younger sister named Mimansa Malik, who is a senior anchor, producer, and journalist.
She got married to film actor Riju Bajaj on 19 December 2000. Riju Bajaj is the son of theatre director ram Gopal Bajaj and grandson of music director Khemchand Prakash.
Education background
Malik has done her schooling from holy child school, Sonipat, and Motilal Nehru school of sports, Rai, Sonipat. She has done a master’s degree in English from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. After completing her studies, she moved to Delhi, where she joined the national school of drama and did an acting course there. After that, she moved to Mumbai in 2000.
Acting career
Although Meghna Malik is well known for her role ammaji in the popular Hindi serial na aana is desh meri laado, this was not the first project for which she worked. She made her acting debut with a Hindi serial named ye Mumbai h Meri Jaan and she got a second break-in another Hindi serial named astitva, Ek prem Kahani.
